Get Stuck In · Co. Cavan · Last updated 13 June 2026

This notice explains how Get Stuck In ("we", "us" — an early-stage initiative gauging interest; not yet a registered company) handles personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Get Stuck In is an early-stage initiative based in Co. Cavan, run by Ken, an experienced builder. As things stand the data controller is Ken, trading as Get Stuck In; if and when a company is formed, it will become the controller and this notice will be updated. You can contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected].

What we collect — and what we don't

Through the website "register your interest" form, we do not require your name, and we never ask for your phone number. We collect:

If you leave the email field blank, your submission stays anonymous — county, build, format and who-you-are do not identify you on their own. Our server and Cloudflare may briefly process technical data (such as an IP address) to deliver the site and prevent spam — see "Processors" below.

If you give us your email (on the form or by writing to us), we hold it, and any message you send, so we can reply and let you know about camps. We use it for nothing else — no marketing lists, no sharing.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

How long we keep it

Anonymous interest data is kept only until we've made our launch decisions, then deleted — and in any case no longer than 12 months after you submit it. Any email address you give us is kept until you ask us to remove it, or until we've launched in your area and you've heard from us, and in any case no longer than 12 months. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than 12 months, unless you go on to book a place (in which case booking records are kept as required by Revenue).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we don't share it for marketing. We use trusted service providers ("processors") only to operate the site and communicate with you.

Processors we use

Children

Our camps are for adults aged 18 and over. Our activities are not directed at under-18s, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, let us know and we'll delete their details.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We respond to every request within one month — usually much faster.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland — dataprotection.ie.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling of any kind.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use any analytics that profile you. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a strictly-necessary security cookie to tell real visitors from bots; this is exempt from consent and is not used to track you.
